1. Who We Are
Schemes of Work ("we", "us", "our") is an online and mobile platform that helps
teachers in Kenya create Schemes of Work, Lesson Plans, teaching notes, and exam materials
aligned to the CBE (Competency-Based Education) and other curricula. This policy explains
what information we collect,
how we use it, and the terms that govern your use of our paid teaching resources.

- Account information: name, email address, phone number, school, and
TSC number (where provided), collected when you register or sign in (including via
Google/Facebook sign-in).
- Payment information: M-Pesa transaction details (e.g. phone number,
M-Pesa receipt number, amount) when you top up your wallet or pay for a scheme, lesson
plan, or other resource. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or full financial account
details — payments are processed through Safaricom's M-Pesa platform.
- Content you create: schemes of work, lesson plans, class lists, and
related teaching content you generate or upload while using the app.
- Usage data: device type, app version, and general usage patterns, used
to improve the app and diagnose issues.
- Referral data: if you use or share a referral code, we record the
referring and referred accounts to credit referral rewards.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and deliver the schemes, lesson plans, notes, and
exams you pay for.
- To process payments, maintain your wallet balance, and handle refunds.
- To manage referral rewards and school/organisation memberships.
- To communicate with you about your account, transactions, or support requests.
- To improve the app, fix bugs, and develop new features.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Payment processors (Safaricom M-Pesa) to complete transactions.
- Service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, email/SMS
delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where required by Kenyan law or to protect our legal
rights.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a
reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. You
may request deletion of your account as described in Section 9.
6. Payments & Refund Policy
- Schemes of work, lesson plans, notes, exams, and other resources on this platform are
paid content, purchased using your in-app wallet.
- Wallet top-ups are refundable only if the funds are still available in your
wallet — i.e. not yet used to purchase any scheme, lesson plan, note, exam,
or other resource — and the refund request is made within 48 hours
of the top-up.
- Approved refunds are reversed in full, to the same M-Pesa number (or original
payment method) used to make the payment.
- To request a refund, contact info@24seven.co.ke
with your transaction/receipt details within the 48-hour window.
- Once wallet funds have been used to purchase a resource, that portion is
non-refundable.
- Refund requests made outside the 48-hour window are handled at our sole discretion.
- We are not responsible for funds sent to an incorrect M-Pesa till/paybill number by the
user.
7. Referral Rewards
Referral bonuses are credited according to the terms shown in the app at the time of
referral and may be changed, withdrawn, or forfeited in cases of suspected abuse or fraud.
8. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Content generated through the platform is for your own teaching use; redistribution or
resale of purchased schemes/lesson plans/exams without permission is not allowed.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, payment abuse, or violation of
these terms.
9. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing
info@24seven.co.ke. We will respond within a
reasonable time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
10. Children's Privacy
Schemes of Work is intended for use by teachers and school staff, not by children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app
after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
